Mission Statement
Salt Lake Community College is a multi-campus, comprehensive institution serving a diverse population through lifelong education. Our mission focuses on student needs in an open-door setting.
Purpose
The purpose of the Lifetime Activity Center is to provide a facility for the student, staff, and community alike to obtain and maintain a healthy lifestyle. This lifestyle can be made available by participating in a variety of recreational, academic, and athletic activities.

Rick Medley accepted the position of LAC Coordinator in the spring of 2008. Rick has also worked at SLCC in other capacities for since 2000. Rick is responsible for open recreation time, Alder Amphitheater, facilities in the Lifetime Activities Center and coordinates events in the Bruin Arena; such as basketball games, high school graduations, concerts, dances, and gymnastic competitions.
