Becoming a Lifetime Activities Center User

The Taylorsville Redwood campus recreation office is located in the LAC Room 160. Please stop by or call 957-5808 for further information concerning programs, schedules or policies. Office hours are Mondays-Fridays 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
User Qualifications
To use Lifetime Activities Center Facilities you must meet one or more of the following requirements:
1. Be currently enrolled with an updated student identification card (One Card).
2. Be an employee (in good standing) of Salt Lake Community College.
3. Be a community resident ( in good standing) and have the ability to pay the required user fee (daily, by semester, annually).
4. Wear approved /appropriate work out clothing.
5. Adhere to the following policies and procedures.

SLCC Recreation Membership Pass/ Daily Rates
Current students and personnel of SLCC, alumni, retirees, and community are eligible to use all SLCC indoor activities facilities at the Lifetime Activities Center (LAC) at the following rates:

Lifetime Activities Center (LAC)
General Policies and Procedures
The Taylorsville Redwood campus recreation office is located in the LAC Room 160. Please stop by or call 801.957.5808 for further information concerning programs, schedules or policies. Office hours are Monday – Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
× We expect all participates to keep our facilities clean and safe for everyone’s enjoyment.
× Please understand that there are risks in getting seriously injured when participating in all recreation activities, and participants do at their own risk.
× All facility users are required to have a valid SLCC One Card. This cards acts as your membership card. Facility users will be required to swipe their SLCC ONE CARD through an authorized terminal or pay the daily rate. Information regarding SLCC One Cards can be obtained at the information desk located in the Student Center building, 801.957-4333
× Age Restrictions apply. To participate in SLCC Recreation Facilities, users:
a. Must be at least 15 years old to use facilities in the strength and fitness rooms and must be accompanied by participating adult.
b. Must at least 12 years old to use other activity facilities at LAC and must be accompanied by a participant adult.
× Personal belongings must be kept in lockers. For more information on getting a locker please see the recreation attendant at the check-in desk Room 160.
× LAC racquetball/wallyball court reservations may be made one day in advance by calling 801-957-3801
× Participants are responsible for any damage to the facilities. Please report it to any recreation attendant.
× Recreation staff has full authority to ask participants to leave the facilities if their conduct is disorderly.
Note: On occasion, due to unforeseen scheduling conflicts, various facilities may not be available for use. Due to regularly scheduled academic programs/ athletic programs have first priority over open recreation in the LAC facilities.
